While in Washington, CAPPP students will reside at the UC Washington Center in the Dupont Circle neighborhood. Opened in Fall 2001, the 11-story building contains residential apartments and classrooms, providing the students from the eight UC campuses with both a place to live and a place to learn.

The apartments are fully furnished, two-bedroom, one-bathroom units, with a living room and a kitchen.  The Center is easily accessed from the Farragut North or Dupont Circle stations off of the Metro Red Line. Four UCLA students are are typically assigned to each apartment. Many internships are within a 10-20 minute walk from the Center; the rest are usually no more than a 30-minute trip on the subway, including the time it takes to walk to the subway from the Center.
